Christmas Day

Monday, December 25th, Year C

Candle Lighting: Light one large white candle.

Question: Why do we light this candle?

Response: We light this candle because the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.

Scripture: Read John 1: 1-14

Prayer: Thank you for the gift of Your son,
full of grace and truth
and that we have seen his glory and light.
Thank you that we may be born of You,
through Christ, with Christ and in Christ. Amen.

Singing: Sing one or more of your favourite Christmas hymns. Some possibilities:
